Andrej Litvaj

Andrej Litvaj is Chief Technology Officer at Walletory, where he owns the technical side of cross-border settlement — the architecture of the platform itself and the engineering practice behind it, from technology management to business continuity, for a payment institution licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

He has spent more than twenty years in web application development as a software architect and consultant, working across software architecture, technical analysis, innovation and team leadership. Alongside Walletory he is Lead Software Architect at Purple Next.

Earlier he spent around six years on Katipult, a white-label crowdfunding platform later listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and a winner of RBC Royal Bank’s Emerging Enterprise of the Year Award — first as a senior backend developer at JOI Media in Canada, where the product was built, and then as a technical sales specialist at Katipult itself. He has also worked as a full stack developer at Stylelabs.

His career goes back to 2006. Before Canada he spent five years as an IT consultant at Pears Health Cyber in Prague, leading development in its new media division across more than a hundred websites, and earlier ran a small development team as IT manager at UP Promotion. He studied at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University in Prague.
