Company
Built by financial market veterans who walked in your shoes.
We know your pain – we built the solution.
Walletory started slowly, building up on trust via stable infrastructure. Where clients felt the traditional ways lacked the speed, scale or trust, we came to bring you the solution. Now, our infrastructure is built on market reality and understands your struggle.
We started in 2017 as a small Singaporean company with a local approval for a stored-value facility activity. However, with the regulatory changes in 2019 following the new Payment Services Act, we decided to take it a step further and applied to the Monetary Authority of Singapore for a Major Payment Institution license, which we were granted in 2023.
Knowing the market, we decided to build our infrastructure from scratch with only trusted partners. Albeit it took a long time, we have been setting up partnerships with banking and payment institutions that keep high credibility instead of risking our future for a few more bucks. Thus, we're building on the stability, and we keep on forming our infrastructure on these principles.
We started with few clients and tested our capacities with them, improving full compliance, building experienced teams and an API surface that we can be proud of. Our company now executes payments for hundreds of clients, domestically or internationally, providing them with simple, fast and cost-wise solutions.
