Lukáš Bílek

Lukáš Bílek is Legal Counsel at Walletory, where he handles licensing, contracts, and the legal structure behind cross-border settlement. He provides full legal service for Walletory’s Major Payment Institution license in Singapore and communicates directly with the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

He is a PhD candidate in Legal Professions and Studies at Masaryk University, researching the legal framework for managing technological risk in financial institutions under the EU’s DORA regulation, and holds a Master’s degree (Mgr.) in Legal Professions and Studies from the same university. He also holds a Certificate in Legal Writing and Related Global Legal Skills from the Academy of Legal Theory and the University of Vienna.

Before focusing on Walletory full-time, Lukáš worked as an in-house lawyer at Purple Next, overseeing compliance with PCI DSS and PSD2 regulations, as a paralegal drafting civil, employment and corporate contracts and preparing court filings, and as a project manager at the Czech-Singaporean Chamber of Commerce.
